Courageous Conversations with Dave Nelson and Rebecca Rackow

The Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission continues its Courageous Conversation speaker series on Thursday, December 3, 2020, at 10:00 AM.

The speakers are Dave Nelson and Rebecca Rackow. Their Courageous Conversation titled “The Echo Pandemic” focuses on mental wellness issues.

Dave Nelson has more than 40 years experience as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse and a Registered Social Worker. He has worked with the Canadian Mental Health Association for over 25 years in various leadership roles and is currently the CMHA-SK Senior Program Consultant. Dave has been involved in a number of multi-agency collaborative efforts (PIND, DISC, DSA, SVOR, etc.) and is an advocate for mental health and cross-disability services in Saskatchewan.

Rebecca Rackow,  B.A. (Hons.) , BSW, RSW ,  is currently the Director of Advocacy, Research, and Public Policy Development at the Canadian Mental Health Association, Saskatchewan Division (CMHA-SK) Rebecca has developed a recreational programming organization for older adults (RebeCreation Therapy Inc.) as well as program development with CMHA-SK (C.A.R.E., Emergency Wellness Support Lines, etc.) and advocates for individuals working through the mental health system as well as overall systemic change.
