Lunch and Learn with the Pride Alliance Network

June 7, 2022

On June 22, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission will host an online Employment Equity Partners Lunch and Learn Event.

Guest speakers Trudy Nicolle and Chris Bryant from the Pride Alliance Network will discuss the provincial government’s new Gender Transition Guidelines. These guidelines support transgender and gender diverse public service employees as they transition to their authentic selves in the workplace. The information, tools, and resources in the guidelines will help managers and coworkers support colleagues who are transitioning in the workplace. The guidelines also have application to all SHRC equity partners and employers.

With over three decades of experience in the human resource field, Trudy Nicolle has a deep interest in people and their workplace experiences. She has worked as a mediator and conflict resolution trainer in the non-profit sector, and for the Manitoba and Saskatchewan governments. She worked for the Ministry of Labour Relations as a Senior Labour Relations Officer; and most recently, at The Public Service Commission as a Human Resource Business Partner, and Senior Talent Management Consultant. She has a special interest in the field of Equity Diversity and Inclusion.

Chris Bryant is a Program Design and Policy Consultant for the Government of Saskatchewan in the Ministry of Social Services’ Housing Division. As part of the Government’s Pride Alliance Network Chris works with his colleagues to create a positive space for LGBTQ2S+ employees in the public service. His recent work includes collaborating on the development of the Gender Transition Guidelines to support transgender and gender diverse employees in the workplace.

The Lunch and Learn, which will take place on the WebEx video conferencing platform, features a presentation from the Pride Alliance Network, followed by a Q&A period.

To RSVP, please email [email protected] by Tuesday, June 21. Once you have registered, a WebEx link to the event will be mailed to you.
