Public Education


A key feature of the Commission’s mandate, public education is an effective way to inform children, youth, and adults about their rights and responsibilities as citizens.
The Commission has had the dual responsibility of administering Saskatchewan’s anti-discrimination laws and promoting the principles of equality and equity through public education for the past 40 years.
Since The Saskatchewan Human Rights Code Amendment Act, 2010, was proclaimed, however, the Commission has put additional emphasis on its education mandate in a variety of ways.
