The Ministry of Education is seeking the perspectives of parents of children who are D/deaf and hard of hearing into the development a preschool program. The survey information can be found at http://www.saskatchewan.ca/government/public-consultations/deaf-deaf-and-hard-of-hearing-preschool.

This importance of preschool education for Deaf/deaf and hard of hearing children was noted in the Commission’s report, “Access and Equality for Deaf, deaf, and Hard of Hearing People: A Report to Stakeholders“, and was identified as a priority by the SHRC’s D/deaf and Hard of Hearing Stakeholder Advisory Committee.
