Enough Already: A Retrospective

March 21, 2024

On Friday, March 22, 202at 12:00 p.m. the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission will host an online event titled Enough Already: A Retrospective.

In 2019, a coalition consisting of the Commission, the University of Saskatchewan – College of Law, the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce, the Public Legal Education Association of Saskatchewan, and the Saskatoon Industry-Education Council received Government of Canada funding ($1.6 million over five years) to create a province-wide strategy to address sexual harassment in the workplaces of Saskatchewan.

The ensuing initiative was called Enough Already.

With the initiative transition to a new phase at the end of this month, guest speaker Nicole White will be on hand to discuss the project; talk about the past five years of sexual harassment education and support; and reflect on the impact Enough Already has had in Saskatchewan.

Nicole White is a registered social worker and has been Project Lead for Enough Already for the past four years. Prior to that, she worked in the community for two decades engaging with marginalized communities. In her spare time, Nicole started a non-profit organization called Moon Time Connections, which has sent four million menstrual products to northern and remote communities across the country since its inception.
