Lunch and Learn with Robin Mowat

The Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission continues its online Employment Equity Partner Lunch and Learn series on November 16, 2023 at 12:00 p.m.

The Commission’s Director of Systemic Initiatives, Robin Mowat, is the feature speaker. He will present: Human Rights and Hiring Interviews.

During the session, Robin will discuss the requirements for employers to avoid discrimination in their hiring processes, including application forms and interviews. This will include information for employers seeking to do preferential hiring in accordance with an equity plan.

Meet the Speaker

Robin Mowat is the Director of Systemic Initiatives at the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission. He is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan. Previously, he served with the Canadian Forces Army Reserve and worked in communications in the public and private sectors before joining the Commission in 2012.
